TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE
Conditions of Service:
All contracts of service are made between yourself (the client) and Maids at Home (Owners of the Company) and not with any individual employee of the company who have no jurisdiction to amend any arrangement made between the company and the client. Maids at Home will endeavour always to meet the client's needs and will be flexible if sufficient notice is given of any changes the client may wish to make in the hours, time and service required, if agreed with us in advance.
Payment Terms:
Regular Contract services: Invoices are issued at the end of each month and prompt payment is required within 7 days.
Payment can be made by BACS, Cash, Credit Card or Cheque.
One off services: 50% deposit is required on booking and the balance is payable on the day of completion of the work.
Cancellation:
Cancellation of our service requires at least two working days notice for temporary adjournment of our services or 14 days notice is needed for the permanent cancellation. Failure to do this will result in the normal cleaning fee being charged. If our employees are unable to enter the premises, through no fault of their own, this will be classed as a cancellation and 50% of the cleaning price will be charged.
Insurance:
Maids at Home, has Public and Employers Liability Insurance which protects client's homes/offices in the event of accidental damage whilst we are in your premises. All claims must be notified to us within 24 hours of discovery, first by phone and then in writing. Claims will be invalidated if our insurers are unable to substantiate claims. Our insurance is an additional safeguard and cannot be used for customers own individual household or other contents insurance.
Complaints:
Maids at Home strive at all times to provide a highly satisfactory service but in the rare event that a client has any complaints, the company requires notification within 24 hours for us to assess the nature of the complaint and if justified to redeem the situation. We will not consider any complaints which are notified after this time.
